Was the apartment as described? | The apartment was nicer than described. The bathroom is very big and I was very pleased to find it had a power shower. There is also more than enough storage in the apartment and everything from cutlery to bedlinen and beach towels were provided. As we discovered the Porto Antigo complexes are the only apartments built on the beach so their location is perfect. There is a hotel next door which was very convenient for lunch or a glass of wine or beer during the day. |

Was anything in the apartment broken/not working on your arrival? | Everything worked perfectly. |
Was there anything which you wished had been in the apartment? | We missed a toaster but that was all. We found the padaria (bakery) on the second day so we didn't really need the toaster. |
Was the complex to your satisfaction? (Cleanliness, Security,etc) | The complex is very clean and well looked after. The pool area is spotless and the pool is cleaned every night. The staff at reception were very helpful and there were security guards there during the evening. It is also in a very central location right in the town of Santa Maria. Everything is within walking distance. |
What could we do/provide that would improve the apartment/holiday? | You couldn't have done anymore for us. We were delighted with the apartment and we will definitely return and recommend it to our friends. |
Any comments
The only possible thing I could recommend is cushions for the deck chairs but I'm sure they are hard to come by in Santa Maria. It was perfect, a really relaxing break before our wedding in July. Thanks again, Rachel and Ronan |

Overall we had an amazing holiday without any problems, we did lots of Windsurfing at Josh Angulo’s place and they were really friendly and helpful (€80 for 3 hour long group lessons). We went fishing with Steve an expat (002389760468) really good fun (€35 each). Hired Quad bikes for the day from Polaris near the pharmacy (€70 for the day) the route around the island in the guide book was really good. Thanks again for getting everything sorted with such short notice.

Any comments We had a great holiday and think the location is excellent being in the centre of town but at the same time quiet and peaceful, staff were friendly and helpful.
